In the case of email receipts, the data is available to the sender of the email, and the BluePentagon system administrators. The groups mentioned above may choose to extend access to whomever they wish. The data could also be accessed by employees of the hosting company hosting BluePentagon.com and any ISP though which authorised users access the BluePentagon summaries. Personally Identifiable Data In rare cases, the data you provide may be remotely traceable back to you. This typically occurs when you are the sole user of an ISP account that puts your username in your computer's 'hostname', and you have a personal web site or public email address that identifying you with your ISP and that particular username. In most other cases, it is not possible to tell that you are the visitor concerned. However, if you are accessing a site or email using BluePentagon, whilst at work, it may in some cases be possible to identify your employer or the educational establishment you attend. Remedies If you object to any of the above policies, you should install software to block remotely stored images on third-party hosts. |
